Meet Est Est

The History of Est Est, a Long Established, Award Wining Interior Design Company in Scottsdale AZ

Est Est, Inc. established in 1959, is the oldest of the interior design companies in Scottsdale, Arizona. The original owners, William Benner and Pat Maas, pioneered the path for interior design in Arizona. Est Est’s original design studio was located on Main Street in “Old Town” Scottsdale. In tandem with establishing Arizona’s place in design, the original owners worked on many notable projects, including the original layout and design of the Phoenix Zoo with the Maytag family.

Mr. Benner and Mr. Maas were very active in many local and national events of the times and even designed a Southwest Room for the 1965 New York World’s Fair. With a 50-year rich history and notable past, Est Est has enjoyed distinguished recognition in the local residential and commercial fields, as well as with private clients and contract projects throughout the United States, Europe and Mexico.

What We Do

Interior Design Services

We believe in utilizing software like Auto-Cad and Revit to properly document the design of projects to allow for accurate pricing and the faithful execution of the design concepts in the field. We regularly create photo-realistic renderings to allow our clients to fully visualize what their spaces will look like upon completion. We also have a sophisticated system in place so we can track every furniture piece ordered on behalf of our clients so we can properly prepare for a comprehensive furniture installation.

Every home should look beautiful the day they are completed. We believe it is important that they can also be lived in and maintained so that their timeless look lasts decades.

Textures are everything, and for that reason, we have a large resource library that allows our clients to touch and feel material samples throughout the design process. This method helps ensure that original choices can be made with full confidence.

Design Integrity

We specify products for our clients considering their aesthetics, use case, budget, and timeline. The contractor will purchase all construction materials, including but not limited to flooring, cabinets, countertops, plumbing, and appliances. We do not have any hidden compensation related to products purchased through the contractor. Our designers are free to specify from any manufacturer and are not limited to exclusivity agreements. There is never a conflict of interest.
